The Terminal
its an ungodly hour of 315 am in this part of the world as i lay victim to an overdoze of cafeine. it almost seemed that i gave up blogging for good this time- funny thing that! You know how it is when you feel life is calm like the sea setting out at dusk-you look toward the horizon feeling at peace with the world and whoosh there comes a giant wave crashing down upon you and carrying you with its forceful current of Life. Guess you could say, that i got swept away by one of those tides in the last couple of weeks.
At this time i look forward to the next twenty hours whooshing past me as swiftly as possible so that i may leave the surrounds of this transit terminal and be home sweet home! God i feel like Viktor Navroski- One day is bad enough!!!
This be-eth Hubby's and mine first trip to this country. Another one of the first time thingy's we've done since we've been married. I like being married. As long as i am boss!!!
The night elves on shift are rather clumpy. I thought they would be magically invisible-au contraire they are noisily visible!!!
its been about 4 hours spent here- and so far i read the Daily Mail- got the scoop on Pattie Boyd ex wife of Eric Clapton. Read the princes of wales finally decided to shush the world press into shushing up morbid details of the beloved Princess' life. Ate a sandwich, and a bite of Hubby's humus... went to the loo. sat in the smokers section by mistake where we were engulfed in puffs by china men (well they looked chinese!!!)
said gezundheit to a lady who sneezed in the loo... smiled polite smiles at every other person and caught a few winks of sleep
Now that the cafeine is kicking in and the computer terminals are free i have the leisure of filling in my nonsense once more!!!
Hubby looks so cute trying to sleep on the sofa. Methinks sofa's dont suit him!!! Oh oh... i also read about a couple who celebrated their 78th anniversary in England. According to them the secret of their marital bliss is one row a day keeps the divorce lawyers at bay....
Kudos to them. I showed the article to Hubby and told him i think we are on the right track!!!
Hubby was sifting through a mag... caught him looking at a picture of Sophia Loren... Asked him if he thought i looked like her (well i have been told that on a few occasions...) And hubby sorely lacking any tact truthfully replied that i dont...
Oh the shattered dreams!!!! (Here's where i bury my head in my hands in one dramatic swoop and collect an oscar for my performance!!)
Well me vs. Viktor... I am missing a job... Have love interest that is currently in la la land, have lots of smiley friendly faces, food, immigration authorities minus masonry job... May as well have had cast me in the lead role!!
I grow steadily weary and so gonna say tata.. toodle loo... pip pip and all that tommy rot and go find a job to do til i get outta here!!!
